The Grand Rapids Sail and Power Squadron (GRSPS) is the Grand Rapids area’s Boating Club. With activities focused on boating that is safe, smart and fun, GRSPS members have access to some of the best resources available to recreational boaters. Whether you own a sail boat, a houseboat, a cruiser, a fishing boat, a ski boat, a pontoon boat or a personal watercraft, GRSPS can enhance your boating experience. GRSPS offers free vessel safety inspections, introductory boating safety courses and an extensive curriculum of boating education courses. In addition, GRSPS members hold monthly and annual social  events. Finally, an active social calendar rounds out the activities available for having fun sharing times with others who love to boat. Chartered on April 29, 1940, GRSPS is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons and is one of 450 local squadrons across the U.S.
